Jumba Mugwanya

Jumba M. Mugwanya is a trial-lawyer with over 13 years of experience practicing law in the State of New Jersey. Currently, Jumba serves as a Senior Associate at the Davé Law Firm in Trenton, New Jersey where he specializes in criminal defense, family law and representing clients in municipal matters. Prior to entering private practice, Jumba dedicated his career to public service having served as a staff attorney in multiple State, County and Municipal government agencies.

A native of Middlesex County, Jumba was born in Edison and raised in Woodbridge to two parents who emigrated to the United States from Uganda in 1980. Jumba graduated high school in 2004 from the Wardlaw-Hartridge School in Edison, New Jersey. Jumba went on to attend Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia for his undergraduate education, where he earned his B.S. degree in Political Science in May 2008. Jumba completed his studies at the Stetson University College of Law in Gulfport, Florida, earning his J.D. degree in July 2011.
